May 10, 2022 – Taglialatella Galleries – Toronto is excited to unveil the transformation of its Yorkville Avenue facade with a new mural by LA-based artist, Mikael B. Mikael B.’s bold colours and geometric abstract shapes cement the Toronto gallery’s reputation as an artistic destination within the neighbourhood and beyond.
Born and raised in Denmark, Mikael’s early years as a graffiti artist were heavily impacted by the “wild-style” genre. He has since gone on to hone his craft and refine his sensibilities, becoming a household name in Danish muralism. His newly renovated studio in LA’s Arts District will offer him the space for unprecedented exploration of technique, scale, and medium.
