Best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Incubus.
In addition to his music career, he has built a parallel path as a visual artist — painting, drawing, making prints, and publishing art-books.He has published three books of his visual artwork: White Fluffy Clouds (2003), From the Murks of the Sultry Abyss (2007), and So the Echo (2013).
His art career includes solo exhibitions in major cities (Amsterdam, London, Paris, etc.) as well as participation in art fairs.He describes his visual-art process as one of “magic, serendipity, curiosity and mystery” — his works often include ink spills, free-form lines, expressive abstraction emerging from travel journals and exploration.
