Mr. Brainwash, TORONTO IS BEAUTIFUL

Showcasing his signature spray paint style, legendary street artist Thierry Guetta, known as Mr. Brainwash, celebrates all things Toronto in his latest solo exhibition entitled, Toronto is Beautiful to commemorate the gallery’s one-year annivrsary. His unique working style incorporates richly layered screen printing, stencils, spray painting and improvisational hand painting and playfully juxtaposes cultural icons of the past with the present, while stylistically paying homage to an array of artists from Andy Warhol to Picasso and Banksy. A key contributor to INK Entertainment’s recently announced Yorkville Murals festival, Mr. Brainwash is also an active philanthropist who has donated much of his works to numerous causes including the Los Angeles LGBT Centre and created commemorative 9/11 murals to honour victims.
