The Napkin Exhibition x Taglialatella Galleries

June 19, 2025 –Taglialatella Galleries – Toronto proudly presented The Napkin Exhibition, a unique and inspiring event that brought together 40 Toronto artists for an unforgettable evening of creativity, connection, and community.

What began as a simple idea between Alan Ganev, Mony Zakhour, and Jordan Sook quickly blossomed into a powerful night of art and purpose:

“What if we brought together 40 Toronto artists for a private evening where they could draw on napkins?”

“Yeah! We could silkscreen the napkins, design beautiful leather-bound covers, and curate an exhibition where every piece is for sale with proceeds going to a nonprofit like Feed It Forward.”

“Maybe we even take the napkins from Soho House they’re kinda nice… it cuts costs.”

And so, the idea came to life.

The journey started with a magical, artist only gathering at Cry Baby Gallery, where creatives turned everyday napkins into intimate works of art. The exhibition at Taglialatella that evening showcased these pieces each one telling a unique story, each created with spontaneity and heart.

For two hours, guests explored this intimate collection, with all works available for purchase. The proceeds went toward supporting Feed It Forward’s vital mission to combat food insecurity in our community. 

The result? A room buzzing with energy, community, and inspiration. Artists reconnected, new audiences were introduced to emerging talent, and a simple napkin proved just how powerful creativity can be when paired with intention.
