Eric Stefanski’s work is a reflection on the humor and rejection that comes with having a studio practice. Typographical compositions hold the intention of pointing outward to larger issues in our culture and art history while also reflecting on his own personal history. Poetic, sarcastic, and ultimately very relatable, Stefanski captures the scope of human emotions in astute phrases. A graduate of the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago, Stefanski has been the subject of a number of international solo exhibitions from Tokyo, to Madrid, to New York and beyond.
