Letter By Letter with Ben Johnston

August 2025 – Taglialatella Galleries – Toronto is pleased to highlight a breathtaking new installation by acclaimed Canadian artist Ben Johnston, unveiled just last week at Yorkville Murals. Titled You & Me, the soaring 30-foot inflatable artwork transformed Yorkville Village, stopping visitors in their tracks and inviting them to step inside, look up, and experience text as something larger than life.

Known internationally for his bold typographic works, Johnston continually pushes the boundaries of language and design, turning words into immersive visual experiences. You & Me exemplifies this approach, transforming simple text into a monumental form that blurs the line between art, architecture, and public engagement. Visitors were not only drawn to the sheer scale of the piece but also to the way it encouraged connection, reflection, and play within the urban landscape.
