Mr. Brainwash, Follow Your Heart | Rodeo Drive

February 10, 2024 – Mr. Brainwash has done it again, spreading messages of life, love and aspirations of dreaming big. A new, multi-coloured outdoor art installation by the internationally acclaimed street artist invites wanderers to follow their hearts along Rodeo Drive.

Organized by Mr. Brainwash and the Rodeo Drive Committee, Follow Your Heart will be on view leading up to and on Valentine’s Day, and through to June 12, 2024. The installation features twelve monumental, chrome heart-shaped balloon sculptures in vibrant colours of pink, green, blue, yellow, red and orange along the iconic three blocks.

Presented as single and grouped installations, the heart sculptures come in different sizes with some rising to nine feet tall. The heart balloon sculptures appear to be inflated but are works of fiberglass, stainless steel, and automotive paint to weather the outdoors. The sculptural trail of hearts turns Rodeo Drive to a lover’s lane!

“Mr Brainwash’s art has become a conversation piece for residents and visitors alike,” said Beverly Hills Mayor Julian Gold. “His unique brand is the perfect complement to the iconic character of Rodeo Drive and the City is proud to host this latest installation.”

Over the last 10 years, Mr. Brainwash, the moniker for Thierry Guetta, has risen to international recognition since he was first introduced to the world in 2010 by the British documentary. Exit Through The Gift Shop, directed by infamous street artist Banksy. This new embarkment is part of his commitment to public art, following the installation of “Beverly Hills Is Beautiful” in 2019 and “Imagiro” in 2023.
