October 18th, 2018 (Toronto, ON) – Taglialatella Galleries Toronto is pleased to present a solo show by RISK from November 1st to November 15th at Canada’s first Taglialatella Galleries located at 99 Yorkville Avenue.

Showcasing mixed media art, the two-week Toronto exhibition will feature a rousing collection of the legendary artist’s neon and car plate artworks. In true RISK fashion, the artist is arriving ahead of the exhibition to paint one of his signature murals on the exterior and interior of the Yorkville gallery just in time for the show.

“RISK is an incredible artist that pushes the boundaries of mixed media art with finesse and creativity that inspires,” says Alan Ganev, Director, Taglialatella Galleries Toronto. “The mural he is painting that will envelop our gallery walls is a true testament to his originality and innovation.”

A true pioneer in the street art world, RISK’s career spans over 30 years. His celebrated work has been seen on everything from freeway overpasses and signs, to renowned clothing brands and music videos including the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Michael Jackson.

Opened in July 2018, Taglialatella Galleries Toronto is a joint partnership between Charles Khabouth and Danny Soberano of INK Entertainment, and New York based Taglialatella Galleries. The Yorkville location showcases some of today’s finest pop and street art works. Just last month, the venue hosted solo show Metamorphosis by internationally acclaimed pop-artist, Rubem Robierb.
