July 4th , 2019 (Toronto, ON) – INK Entertainment’s Taglialatella Galleries is proud to announce its latest solo exhibition with LA-based street artist, Mr. Brainwash, launching July 11th, 2019 until August 12th, 2019.
A key contributor to INK Entertainment’s recently announced Yorkville Murals festival and to celebrate the gallery’s one-year anniversary, Mr. Brainwash will create a 70 by 7 foot mural showcasing his signature spray paint style, followed by a four week exhibition called Toronto is Beautiful at Taglialatella Galleries. Celebrating all things Toronto, the artist will also create limited edition custom prints that pay homage to the city and his time here.
“Brainwash is a huge international talent that we are thrilled to have join us as we prepare to launch Yorkville Murals and celebrate Taglialatella Galleries’ one-year anniversary, ” says Alan Ganev, Director, Taglialatella Galleries and Yorkville Murals. Navigating between the worlds of film, celebrity culture, music and sports, Mr. Brainwash is also an active philanthropist who has donated his work to numerous causes including the Los Angeles LGBT Centre and created commemorative 9/11 murals to honour victims. Announced in June 2019, INK Entertainment’s Yorkville Murals will feature murals from local and international artists including RISK, Ben Johnston, Whatisadam, Mr. Brainwash and more. Sponsored by Romeo’s Gin, the artistic initiative celebrating contemporary muralism will take place in the courtyard of 99 Yorkville Avenue from September 13th to 15th, 2019.
